January 2013 - Current Taco Bell - Shift Manager Job Duties: * Counting/ auditing the safe, including placing change orders * Holding team members accountable for cash drawers * Training new staff or advancing existing staff of new responsibilities and job duties * Managing and monitoring on-line training for crew and management * Running successful shifts, meeting business targets while maintaining a positive enviroment * Tele-communicating and collaborating with tech support and internal support systems to fix any issues or problems with computer systems and point of sale equipment * Motivating and coaching team members equally and correctly to strive to be a number 1 team * Assisting General Manager in their daily tasks * Upholding corporate standards during daily business practices with great integrity * Counting daily weekly and period product inventory during closing shifts * Monitoring labor percentages on a daily basis and adjusting according to sales volume * Coaching team to continue to be productive throughout entire shift * Providing quality product according to corporate standards * Posting new items and updating menu-boards for new products * Managing a crew of 6-15 people at any given time depending on business needs * Covering shifts when team members can not make it for their shift * Entering items and issues that need to be fixed into the corporate "fix-it" system * Auditing cash drawers to ensure correct amount of money has been accounted for * Monitoring ingredient cost as well as paper, uniform and utensil costs * Adjusting ingredient prep and labor hours depending on hourly sales * Ensuring restaurant does not run out of any product by communicating with other restaurants * Checking and replying to emails from corporate leaders * Operating fax machine to fax business reports and background checks * Completing food safety checklist on a daily basis and ensuring all items are appropriately timed and held in correct areas of restaurant * Utilizing corporate hiring database to maintain a full staff * Documenting crew members for disciplinary actions according to standards * Reviewing P & L reports for each business period * Posting and updating POP and window clings Reason for leaving: I love my job with a passion, but with a growing family in this economy I am in need of something more financially fulfilling.
