I would like to be the nurse-patient advocate that I am meant to be. Through education, I will be able to help patients understand their disease process. I want them to have that time that they deserve as they seek professional help. Healing starts as patients receive the importance given to them by a healthcare provider. A mutual trust and respect takes place during interaction and I find that so valuable throughout the healing process. I have been a head nurse at school environment for many years serving children with special needs. The skills I have earned have been rewarding. I recently earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and I am most proud to have had the motivation to do that. I have been exposed to researches and community projects during the time I was studying for BSN. I want to take my education to the next level now.
