Contracts Specialist
Drafts initial agreements from form templates and send out such agreements for review by clients. Maintians and manages filing system of various forms of hard copy agreements as necessary. Maintains efficient and courteous relationship with customer community. Interfaces with business unit leaders, and negotiates contracts on behalf of the company. Provides contract/subcontract administration and general documentation support for new and existing customers. Drafts, updates, and amends contracts for existing subscriptions. Performs all duties of contract administration, including initial draft of Agreement, negotiation, correspondence, documentation, and financial reporting for major contracts. Participates in and/or conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications and business requirements. Negotiates and coordinate additions, deletions or modifications to all standard and nonstandard contracts. Negotiates contract terms from proposal stage to closing stage of contract review. Coordinates approval of negotiations, contracts, and subcontracts with appropriate management staff with minimal supervision. Prepares moderately complex proposals, conducts contract negotiations, and administration of contracting activities. Provides advice and interpretation of contract requirements to various inter-departmental units and entities within the organization. Prepares consulting agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements Assists in the development of internal contracts policies and processes.
