They include: Excellent people skills: I work effectively with other people - supervisors, co-workers, and customers in diverse and demanding scenarios. Self-motivation: I consistently strive to achieve new levels of performance in each project I undertake, and I do not require direct supervision for success. Flexibility: I learn very quickly, therefore, I adapt easily to new working environments, new procedures, new policies, and technologies. Problem-solving skills: I possess the ability to listen attentively, determine alternatives, and implement positive solutions. Computer Skills: I have a wealth of knowledge with computers that includes, Linux, windows, and mac operating systems, Microsoft office suits along with much more. In regards to the job qualifications for your postings, I have a four year Bachelors degree from American University, along with over 8 years of professional food service management experience. During those 8 years of experience I have progressed in my leadership, I started as a supervisor, moved to an assistant manager, and then to a director of food and beverage managing multiple locations at once. At Tortilla Coast and Catholic University with Aramark I have developed concepts, menus, recipes, and prices. I am currently ServSafe certified as a Food Protection Manager. I have worked with many different inventory management systems, along with being tech savy I am able to quickly adapt to any new systems. With regards to working with and training others within the customer service industry, I have trained countless hourly employees throughout my career. I have also trained dozens of managers at Corner Bakery Cafe, and have trained and developed leaders at Aramark as well. I realize, of course, that this summary cannot possibly provide all the information you will need for your decision-making. In my current position, I manage in a university environment. Previously, for my college job I managed in a university environment for four years working in concessions, and sports events management. I believe that I would help to reflect the department's commitment to diversity and inclusion, as I have Cerebral Palsy (and have worked through it), in addition to working with and developing many different people from different cultures and areas over my career.
