Also, designed 3 different types of staging, with completely collapsible seating and flooring systems, along with Power and HVAC systems. Obtained 3 rentals for 1 year with Walt Disney on Ice, obtaining matching partner to cover 50% of investment * January 88, POB disputes with Group Chairman (Frank O'Brien, III) over several major legal and ethical issues and leaves Group. Research News Reports and Business Journals for background information on what happened to the Group O'Brien Mobile Power Rental Corp. (OBMPR), Wilmington, De. * POB was first to sound attenuate a 500 kW unit, for (Freddie Mercury) Queen's 1st US Tour. Told Production Manager, "take it with you". They successfully utilized the unit and spare with OB technician for their entire World Tour. Upon my suggestion they left the unit in Ireland, which started our UK rental operations, later known as POWERENT Ltd. * Structured 7MW rental with Hollywood Producer Ken Ott for Michael Jackson & Diana Ross's movie, The WIZ, shot in NYC. How I collected the $79K rental fee is quite amusing * Structured 2 year / 2MW / double-shift rental with the Coney Island Carnival Operators Association * Structured 6 month 4.5MW Power rental with Amalgamated Wabasse on Bay Shore Parkway in NYC * Structured (12) 500 kW/each double-shift rental with The American Railroad Passenger Corp. (AMTRAK), while rebuilding (24) 500 kW/each yard units originally sold by OBMC. Example of sale/rental package, of which I structured several for OBMC and OBMPR.
