I am presently retired from the USPS. As a USPS employee I was a machine clerk, a floor clerk, and a window clerk. As a machine clerk I had to sort mail at the rate of 60 letters per minute with 95% accuracy. As a floor clerk I hand sorted letters and parcels. As a window clerk I accepted mail from individuals and businesses, filled postal meters, rented P.O. boxes, sold stamps, insured/certified/registered mail among other duties. Before becoming a USPS employee I served 8 years in the USAF where I held two (2) career fields; Admin Specialist and Chapel Manager. As an Admin Spec. I was in charge of scheduling appointments for NCOs and officers, publications and regulations, and was a member of the Ceremonial Detail among other duties. As a Chapel Manager I was in charge of the Chaplain Funds (Catholic, Protestant, Jewish), ordering supplies, scheduling meetings, taking minutes, crisis management, church services, etc. At Offutt AFB I set up the Jewish Chaplain Fund from scratch. As a Chapel Manager I also supervised personnel.
