Exceeding Expectations Materials Management

Dear Sir or Ms., I feel I’m an excellent candidate for a Materials related position. This statement is based on my diversity in skills and knowledge. I enjoy working with my hands and mind, to complete a project. I’m a self driven person (with a strong work ethics), a people person, always willing to learn, solid work experiences and enhanced educational background. My experiences include Product Financial Manager (Cost Estimating for Metal/Mechanism and Foam), Business Analyst (for a 21 Plant Foundry company), Cost Estimator (for automotive steel tube manufacture), Production Control Manager (automotive metal tube supplier), Buyer (for electronics, fasteners, weldments and stamping). Senior Material Analyst/ MRP Planner (electronic Military tank components) and Industrial Engineer (over a NC Machining Dept.). Also, earned a Masters Degree in Industrial Management & Technology and a B.S. in Industrial Education (secondary student teaching in vocational machine shop, welding and drafting). I have held a Michigan Builders License for several years and enjoy renovation projects (currently updating an older house). I’m currently working in an interim position as the sole 2nd shift maintenance worker in a 120 bed nursing home. In this downsized time, I completed training in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) at Northwestern Technology Institute. Also, I trained towards a Welding Certificate at Schoolcraft College. The classes have enhanced my knowledge of Electronics, Air Conditioners, Maintenance processes and Welding.
