Manager, Medical Billing • Manage team of eight responsible for over $30million in revenue from services provided the multiple Health Clinics within the County. • Prepare and address issues for audit of Medical Billing Team resulting in acceptance of Health Department financial reports. • Collaborate with Central Accounting to clarify Billing process for FQHC’s. • Streamline process for getting information on denials back to the clinics to decrease denials • Redesign allowance for doubtful accounts accrual to more accurately reflect billing system while maintaining GAAP. • Strengthen relationship with business teams that directly and indirectly affect revenue, ie Patient Accounts, Front Desk, Central Accounting and Treasury. • Provide recommendations for the established of new intake process. • Standardize denial codes in use to further analysis by programs within the Health Dept.
