Mfg Controller with ERP systems implementation and Kaizen Training

Seeking a management position in Accounting, with small to mid-size company with a diversified product line, not dependent on a particular segment of one industry for its business. Ideally the company will have a stable management team that is dedicated to improving operations and producing a quality product. Management should have a balanced focus on financial matters, recognizing situations inherent to the business, when analyzing results. The organization should be responsive to employee needs, and dedicated to continuous improvement. This position could be called Plant Controller, Assistant Group Controller, Senior Cost Accountant, Senior Financial Analyst, or similar. Title is not as important to me, as the authorization to work with all areas of an operation. I have expertise in all areas of plant operations accounting and reporting. I am experienced in ERP / MRP software implementations, and systems design. I have been recognized for accuracy, integrity, technical knowledge, and improving departmental efficiency. Trained in Kanban principles, problem solving, 5S, and Kaizen techniques, I am always looking for savings. While my background is mainly automotive, I believe accounting practice is not limited to a category, in manufacturing or distribution of products. Past experience includes foundry, heavy machining, stamping, steel room, urethane foam, and painting processes. In addition I have experience in creation of kits, warehousing, MRO Distribution, Kanban supply, import/export, and international “Just in Time” operations.
