•Performance Excellence Manager (2007 - Actual): Primary responsible: Analyze the current states of Companies/Department to identified the opportunity they have and give them advice to be more competitive base on Costs, Quality and Delivery (QCD). Develop Lean System, DMAIC Six Sigma, JIT and HPWS strategies to improve the QCD, and provide/facilitate site training requirements for those strategies. Define Standards and upholding them through training, increased morale and self-discipline within GEMBA base on involvement, participation and information sharing with employees. Responsible of generating the financial budget of cost center and its proper execution within the established boundaries. •Lean Manufacturing & Project Manager (2007 - 2008): Primary responsible: Develop and deploy the Lean System and DMAIC Six Sigma strategies, provide/facilitate site training requirements for those strategies, coordinate cross-functional activities to identified continuous improvement projects to provide the highest quality, at the lowest cost, in the shortest time by continually eliminating muda or waste. Manages support staff including employee development, performance management, and corrective action within established guidelines, to make optimum use of manpower resources and dollars. Keep in place and improve the Continuous Improvement Suggestion Program (CISP) to assure the involvement, participation and information sharing with the employees. TL-9000 & ISO-9000 auditor. Responsible of generating the financial budget of cost center and its proper execution within the established boundaries. During 2008 my department saved US$ 4,000,000.00 through the Lean Manufacturing and DMAIC tools. •Engineering Support Manager (2002 - 2007): In charge of the Engineering activities in the Products Family (around 600 operators in total). Primary responsible: Define and improve the production standards, standardize work stations, design layout, reduce the scrap, improve the efficiency, the productivity, and the Yield, provide the highest quality, at the lowest cost, in the shortest time by continually eliminating muda or waste, applying of World Class Manufacturing Tools (Lean manufacturing, DMAIC Six Sigma, JIT and HPWS) . Responsible of New Product Introductions (NPI) and product transfers from several plants of the Corporation. Main leader and manager for major and critical transfer project during 2007 from Keller plant to our facility with lean manufacturing implemented before and after the transfer process. The saving just in this one project was around US$ 500,000.00. TL-9000 & ISO-9000 auditor. Recipient of two corporate recognitions: Operations Excellence Award 2005 & Operations Excellence Award 2006. Manages support staff including employee development, performance management, and corrective action within established guidelines, to make optimum use of manpower resources and dollars. •Production and Engineering Support Manager (2001 - 2002): In charge of the Production and Engineering activities in Products Family (around 650 operators in total). Primary responsible: The same activity mentioned before, please see to Engineering Support Manager. Other activities: Manages production plan through proper scheduling, time management, motivation of personnel and required cost efficiencies. Guides, trains and assists in the development of personnel to develop a high-level leadership and decision-making skills and the ability to motivate, influence and train more people. Interfaces with Quality, Materials Management and Purchasing to assure the timely and acceptable manufacture of products. Key player in driving continuous improvement efforts in our growing factory through the Continuous Improvement Suggestion Program (CISP). Work with engineering to eliminate the root cause of problems in the manufacturing process. Develops and maintains a safe working environment. Maintains a high level of safety awareness through training programs, work area audits and the implementation of safety suggestions and improvements. Review performance against plans and budgets monthly. Manages all operations and support staff and Works closely with other members of the Division Management Team. •Before 2001 others position were occupied: Process/Industrial Engineer, Production Supervisor, Process Technician, Industrial Mechanic, etc. 2004 - 2010 Teacher at the University : UNIBE and INTEC Subjects: •Lean Manufacturing, DMAIC Six Sigma, JIT, Operations Manager, Profitability & Costs.
