Dear Sir or Madam: I am an accountant with 20 years of experience in Corporate Accounting looking to advance my career. My career has taken me from working for small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. I have worked with multiple Financial Auditing teams, including Sarbanes-Oxley auditors. I have even been audited for years prior to my employment. General Ledger and monthly reporting to parent companies are my current main tasks. Included in my responsibilities are: the annual physical inventory, account analysis, daily sales and gross margin analysis. I am familiar with multiple financial software packages. Being on both sides of an implementation, as consultant and end-user, has enhanced my knowledge these systems. Creating and maintaining Policies and Procedures manuals has improved my understanding of areas that I was not involved with the day to day workings. I have vast experience working with external auditors and Sarbanes-Oxley auditors. I am familiar with Budgeting and Forecasting. I am familiar with all aspects of corporate accounting procedures. My experiences include generating accurate and timely financial reports to local and division management, budget and forecast preparation, maintaining the General Ledger, continuing monthly account reconciliations and analysis, and applying Inventory Controls. I am proficient with financial software packages including, but not limited to, PeopleSoft, Axapta and Macola.
