RE-enter work force. I am a Masters prepared RN with an entire career in psych, From staff, to privated duty, to managed care director, and director of utilization management. I have also done psych claims reviews for medical necessity, and for over and under billing, I have also reviewed the coding on the psych claims because many of the coder are not really cognizant of appropriate psych diagnoses and their ramifications. Some coders just pick out words and do not understand the case. Because of my educational background, actual clinical experience, management experience, psych billing is very easy because I understand the discipline and the theories.
