Accounts Payable Manager - 18+ years experience -staff of 50+ - SAP

I am a hands on manager with a lot of experience in motivating people to get their job done. I am not afraid of getting involved with the day-to-day functions of my staff. I am a excellent team player able to successfully communicate with everyone both up and down the management scale. I have a BA degree from Pace University and over 18 years of experience as an A/P Manager working for MCI (telecom), Shearson Lehman (brokerage) and Savin Corporation (copier sales). I have worked with all the MS Office products for over 10 years. As a Finance, Project and A/P Manager, I dealt with a very large community of international telephone carriers, internal cross functional teams (IT; Billing; Marketing; Accounting; Finance) and many PO/non PO vendors. I have redesigned and implemented many new processes and software systems to help my teams become more efficient and accurate in processing their work. I am well organized, self motivated, flexible and proactive. I bring a lot of management and process enhancement experience to the table.
