Designed displays for Disney, Nickelodeon, Rugrats, Hot Wheels, and Barbie for the New York Toy Fair. Illustrated for other accounts such as Taco Bell, Davidson Interactive, WABC Television New York, American Computer Optics, Toyota Express Lube, American First Federal Credit Union, Delimex, and Exterra Termite Baiting System which I produced and directed a twenty minute infomercial with two dimensional, and three dimensional animation, with live action. Williams Entertainment Art Director and Conceptual Artist August 1993-June 1996 Managed the art department for projects such as Double Dragons Nintendo and SEGA, Troy Aikman Football SEGA, Fun N Games CD-ROM, Macintosh, and 3DO. Conceptualized art for Doom Nintendo 64. Designed and conceptualized a game in the same genre as Mad Max or Waterworld, a science fiction project that is a driving shooting game with the emphasis on racing. Designed the action figure character model sheets, low and hi tech type vehicles, and backgrounds. Williams Entertainment and Trade West management showed great enthusiasm in this project for a Saturday morning show, as well as for manufacturing action figure toys and radio controlled vehicles. Virgin Interactive Creative Director March 1989-June 1993 Built an art department consisting of 24 people, which was considered one of the best in the video game industry. Supervised an art staff that won many awards. Video game magazines gave our games the best reviews. Designed characters and backgrounds, developed annual budgets, and set up recruiting programs, hiring animators and tile background artists. Built teams as well as tracked all projects. There were approximately five projects going on at any time. Responsible for the visual quality of all games with final approval on projects. The following is a list of these games: 7 up Spot 1 & 2 SEGA and Global Gladiators SEGA (McDonald Hamburger Corp.), Jungle Book SEGA and Nintendo (Disney), RoboCop vs the Terminator SEGA and SEGA CD (ORION Pictures), Demolition Man 3DO starring Sylvester Stallone (Warner Bros.), Monopoly Deluxe PC and CD-ROM (Parker Bros.). One game magazine critic wrote that the animation was good enough that one did not have to play Monopoly to enjoy this game, all they had to do was watch the animation. WORK EXPERIENCE CONTINUED: Self-Employed 1971-1989 Illustrated for numerous national accounts such as Litton Data Systems, Toyota, Nissan, Continental Airlines, Aloha Airlines, Apple Computer Inc., Lotus Software, Lockheed Aircraft, Dow Chemicals, Globe Tires, Carnation Foods, Applause Inc., Buick Automotive show, and Disneyland (Conceptual Designer and Illustrator). Assisted in designing a business and cultural center for the State of Alaska (Robert Jani Productions). Designed a theme park for the City of Norfolk, Virginia (Jacques Cousteau Society). Storyboard Director for Marvel Productions working on Spiderman and Dungeons and Dragons Saturday morning shows. Illustrated for almost every advertising agency and design firm in Los Angeles.
