Paralegal Specialist
I spent 30 years working for the Social Security Administration in a variety of managerial and technical positions. The last 12 years were spent as a paralegal specialist, analyzing disability cases and writing decisions for the adminstrative law judges after the claimant had had their hearing on the matter. I have spent the past year and a half working for the U.S. Census, starting out as an office clerk and working my way up to an operations supervisor in the Quality Assurance section. That work will end within the next 30-45 days, so I am looking for another full-time job within the Federal government to replace the job I am losing.
