Description
I am a senior technical writer/editor and quality assurance analyst with over 20 years of experience in information technology, scientific, and medical documentation, testing, quality assurance, and proposal support and I believe that my background and abilities provide an excellent fit for the position. I am highly experienced with system software and user help documentation utilizing HTML tools, advanced web technologies, MS Word, PowerPoint, graphics drawing packages such as Visio, and management of document portals such as SharePoint. I supported a contract for a U.S. Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant program where I tested and performed analysis of current system help files and created new files where appropriate according to system modifications and functionalities utilizing HTML tools. I previously supported a contract implementing the HP Service Manager 7 automated service desk product for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation in Washington, DC. In addition to documentation and quality assurance responsibilities, I supported SM7 user training sessions and compiled participant evaluation summaries and reports. I have worked both independently and in teams in creating enterprise architecture (EA), system software, information assurance (IA), and requirements documentation following system development life cycle (SDLC), system security certification and accreditation (C&A), FISMA, NIST, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and other mandated criteria.
