Accomplishments Executed a total reorganization of a failing DC. Reversed: low service levels to stores, dismal on time deliveries, under performance of management/associates, high shrink/spoilage and poor cleanliness for an 800,000 sq ft frozen/dairy/produce/dry DC. Generated new budgets and brought facility in under budget every year. Initiated safety program that took DC to #1 in Safety. Turned around warehouse operation serving major natural/organic product supplier. Due to poor physical status/service quality at major food-grade warehouse serving $1B Hain Celestial Group, NFI Industries was selected to run the operation. Devised/executed new plan, completely revamping team, maximizing facility cleanliness and optimizing order fulfillment times/inventory control. Quickly restored profitability after two years in the red. Established site as #1 out of 7 Western Division facilities (and #1 or #2 company-wide) for 8 straight years. Launched 750K sq.ft. warehouse serving $4B toy company. NFI/NDC account, Hasbro, needed to consolidate two warehouses into a state-of-the-art facility while maintaining normal operations. Process was impacted by unexpected last-minute delivery of four 747 plane loads of toys from China and 60+ containers of toys that had to be shipped within two weeks. Met these major challenges on schedule, while ensuring full functionality of new operation. Established CPI program to optimize Unilever logistics operation. 500K sq.ft. DSC warehouse operation serving global Fortune 50 account needed multiple upgrades to meet high performance standards. Created loss prevention, safety, sanitation and training programs to ensure full regulatory compliance while meeting all account expectations. Played key role in successful new account relationship. $3B Barilla was looking to replace its current 3PL provider, and NFI/NDC had landed the account. Devised strategy to ensure the best possible service as well as greater facility availability as Barilla grew its business. As size of operation expanded three-fold and revenues five-fold, met year-over-year customer demands to develop a lasting, lucrative long-term business relationship.
