My background is in Internal Medicine. I have worked with the geriatric population, rounding in long term care facilities and assisted living facilities. I have a broad range of experience that will enhance the care given to patients. I am certified in Wound Ostomy and Continence adding an expertise in the management of acute and complex wounds, and patients bowel and bladder disorders. I am credential in anticoagulation management. I enjoy working with this patient population and derive great satisfaction providing excellent care. My family decided to relocate from Washington State back home to Louisiana due to the poor health of my father and grave prognosis. My father was able to tolerate surgery and has made a remarkable and complete recovery! I accepted a position with Dr. Robert Lyon, Internist of Bastrop, LA, who died suddenly on December 22, 2009. Since my father no longer is in need of care and the future of the clinic is in question, we are returning to the Pacific Northwest.
