EHS LEAN Manager

For the last 6 years, I have been employed with Lasco Bathware, Inc., where I acted as the Environmental Health and Safety Manager / 6Sigma Green/Black Belt Certifications. Lasco primarily manufactures acrylic and gel coat bath fixtures for the building, remodeling, and commercial construction markets. The production process includes vacuum forming of shells and spray- up of fiberglass resin, which incorporates a significant amount of hand finishing and assembly work. As the EHS manager, I utilized LEAN manufacturing practices to facilitate compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations. Each month, I conducted small departmental EHS workshops to promote and develop employee motivation towards problem resolution and ensuring regulatory compliance. While serving in this position, I maintained a reportable - incident free workplace for over 1.5 million consecutive work hours. Prior to my stewardship, the longest incident free period was 400 consecutive work hours in the 9 Lasco’s facilities.
