Accounting Manager

My career goal is to work for an organization that shares my commitment to this community, who emphasizes quality, and promotes a positive environment to develop dedicated staff. As a leader I would bring accounting experience and a professional enthusiasm for efficiency with accuracy to promote the company’s goals. I am anxious to use my accounting experience in a new environment. It has been my privilege to have worked for large organizations where my duties covered all aspects of accounting not limited to: journal entries, maintaining the general ledgers, reconciling accounts, analyzing activity, watching trends, completing reports, producing monthly financial statements through the consolidating financial statement. The computer systems that I have used are designed for large entities with specialized needs. After three major system conversions, I am convinced I can learn any program. It is my philosophy to work with dignity and diligence as a member of a team striving for a common objective to better the business and any affiliates. I have a talent for mentoring and encouraging staff to follow my lead with motivation and loyalty. Although my professional experience is in accounting, there are many other skills I have developed that will enhance a business. Promoting activities, developing strong customer relations and expressing gratitude for work well done is important. Chico is my home town. I intend to be an ambassador for my employer in every role I live. These roles include first and foremost being a wife and mother, friend: then expands to volunteer, sports fan and member of organizations that support our family, schools, church, city and other causes as they arise.
