Comprehensive product development/product design knowledge encompassing product conception, 3D Solids and scaled-model creations, prototype fabrication and testing, analysis, development, manufacturing, quality control, process documentation, marketing, and promotion resulting in release-to-market of numerous and varied consumer products Hands-on, practical experience with both standard and unique manufacturing materials and processes, building and testing of prototypes, analyzing of product returns, specifying Quality Control standards, and creating Bills of Materials and Operations for costing and processing of products Proven verbal, written, and listening communication skills in both team and individual environments and with both internal personnel and with commercial, collegiate, restaurant, hotel, and private clients and suppliers Innovative contributor of design tools and product and process improvements in the constant effort to create and produce “excellent” products Proficiency in improving products by gathering and analyzing data, researching standards/codes/specifications and current literature, documenting-through-photographing, and communicating this information in a comprehensible format to clients Successful use of 2-D and 3-D-Solids CAD in meeting project and product requirements for function, form, and assembly Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
