My name is Andreas Odysseos. The accompanying resume is submitted for your review, so that I can be consideration for the management position available with your dealership. As an automotive professional for the past thirty years I am well aware of the challenging times that our industry is facing. I also realize that you are likely to receive a larger than normal number of resumes in response to any available opportunity. I will assure you that upon reviewing my background, and meeting with me in person, you will know that I am not a typical candidate. Let me share with you a little bit about my history and background. For the past ten years I have managed the business interests of one of the tri-state areas most recognized and respected dealership owners. As General Manager for Crown Cadillac I lead this franchise to top rated regional and national rankings in all sales and operational areas. Most importantly, I insured that the owner’s interests were always paramount in any decisions whether they were large or small. Please take note when you review my resume that for the past twenty years I’ve only had three employers. Prior to Crown Cadillac I had a relatively brief tenure (three years) with an excellent dealership in Westchester County, NY, before being given the opportunity to become General Manager at Crown Cadillac. That position was preceded by seven very rewarding years where I served as General Sales Manager with Nanuet Chrysler Dodge Jeep Mazda Subaru and Hyundai. It is not easy to express in a few short pages the passion and dedication I feel towards our industry, and the opportunities it has afforded both me and my family. I know there are great things ahead for the auto business, and I look forward to joining a company ready to capture a leadership position in the decade to come.
