Materials Manager, Procurement Manager, Dir. of Purchasing

A management position as Materials Manager in an organization where cost reduction, cost containment and negotiation skills would be used to meet the company's strategic goals. I have extensive experience in the inventory control planning, scheduling and supply chain management. I have a successful track record of accomplishments in implementing lean manufacturing processes to improve on-time-delivery, cost reductions, planning and scheduling to increase customers’ satisfaction. My positions have included Regional Procurement Manager, Materials Manager and Director of Strategic Purchasing. As the Materials Manager, with my team, we improved on time delivery performance by 6% by reducing the manufacturing cycle time and supplier’s lead time.
