I possess a unique combination of both strong software engineering skills and vast design verification experience. My expertise in object-oriented software techniques enhances the ability to create multiple permutations of hardware state easily and effectively while reducing test complexity and errors. My disciplined coding style produces highly stable and maintainable environments that can easily be supported and enhanced by others. My utilization of leading edge verification techniques improves test coverage while reducing verification costs. I have personally developed 700K+ lines of code including verification libraries, interface drivers and monitors, random test generators, functional coverage models, static test cases, hardware functional models, and Perl scripts. My efforts have resulted in uncovering design bugs, architecture bugs, performance issues, and holes in coverage. I have helped teams improve test generation, environment building, VIP quality, coverage modeling, and automation scripts. I have extensive architecture knowledge and verification experience in the areas of microprocessors, graphics, SOC, ASICs, on-chip bus protocols, wireless, communication protocols, fiber and serial channels, and I/O devices. I have written a vast array of documents including design specifications, test plans, user manuals, training guides, patent submissions, and conference papers. I have worked with and supported architects and design engineers concerning implementation issues, coverage goals, problem analysis, and problem resolution.
