Description
My expertise is in working closely with patients as a patient navigator/ Coordinator. I have been employed as a Medical Assistant for a very large, high-volume dermatology practice in Broward County for four years. I have also had over ten years’ experience working with cancer patients as a Radiation Therapist. I was most recently employed as a Surgical Coordinator for a large ophthalmology practice in Plantation and an OfFice Coordinator for the Chairman of Hand Surgery, Dermatology and Plastics at the Cleveland Clinic. I excelled in my previous positions and have received glowing reviews (specifically as regards patient interaction), as well as monetary compensation. I am proficient in EMA (the Electronic Medical Assisting software we utilized at my previous job). I also have experience with NEXTGEN and EPIC EMR software programs. I possess very strong communication and computer skills and am quite comfortable with all levels of personnel and management, as well as being emotionally and professionally invested in improving the quality of care that should be afforded all patients. I feel my education, past experiences, training and inherent “people” skills would apply very nicely to this position. I would appreciate the opportunity to tell you more about my work experience, and how I have increased the profitability in my previous places of employment. I would be happy to supply strong references at your request, both personal and professional. I would like to thank you in advance for taking the time to consider my resume and look forward to meeting with you soon. Diane Indelicato
