RssMechanical Engineering - 2 years experience - Circuit design and machine control

Coming back to school again after working in the industry for two years, I gained a sense of the connection between what we learn in schools and the skills required for companies. I found out that what companies want us to gain from schools is the attitude - the attitude of learning actively, the attitude of working in a team, and the attitude of leading a group. Skills and professional knowledge can be taught, experience can be gained after years working, but the attitude, the passion to learn, is the one thing that you always have to build up by yourself. I have a strong background in system integration, control, and hardware design, and have done lots of independent and group projects, among them Z-42 printer head control, robotic arm control, and thermally sensitive fluid velocity flowmeter design. I also gained a large amount of hands-on experience in machining and embedded systems from Smart Product Design courses in SPDL at Stanford University. From these individual and teamwork-based assignments, I solidly developed the abilities of solving the issues and collaborating with international talents. Moreover, I acquired experience in Customer Relationship Management and Technical Services while working at Advantech as an Application Engineer for two years. I am fascinated by latest electronics developments, and have first-hand experience in new project instrumentation. While working as an engineer, I constantly communicated with product managers, sales representatives, and customers, and rapidly adapted to the changing requirements of a fast-paced business environment. I am a fast-learning, fast-thinking person with a passion to learn. With strong motivation and determination, I will capitalize on the opportunity of contributing, and commit my best effort to the team. I appreciate your consideration of my application, and look forward to speaking with you.
