I am seeking a position, domestically or internationally, as a senior consultant or advisor focusing on development of democratic policing in emerging and post conflict nations. My career experience includes 12 years as an international police trainer and consultant to senior Law Enforcement Officials in Bosnia, Iraq, Kurdistan, Southern Sudan and Croatia. My duties have included trainer/instructor, Manager and Academy Director overseeing basic recruit training and border recruit training, Advisor to Ministers of Interior in Sudan, Iraq and Bosnia, policy development in Bosnia and advisor to professional standards units in Bosnia focusing on internal affairs investigations. Prior to international deployments, my career included tenures as a police officer and deputy sheriff, now retired.
