I enjoy teaching. I enjoy public speaking. A perfect position would hopefully combine these skills with skills gained on and off duty while in the military. Perhaps a job with a military contractor teaching service men and women.

CollapseResponsibilities

My major area of responsibility in my current position is maintaining the medical readiness of approximately 200 Marines and Sailors. This involves providing general medical care, consultation, and record keeping/data entry. My second major area of responsibility is training. I train non-medical personnel in basic combat trauma care. In addition, I train junior and/or subordinate medical personnel in the performance of their duties. And I guess I'm cheating at this point, but at any given time I supervise between 20 and 80 medical personnel, making leadership an area of major responsibility as well.
