Driven and professional writer - MS Office, iWork, Adobe CS4

Despite graduating in the worst economy and job market the United States has seen since before I was born, I have endeavored to make the best of things. I have counted myself lucky that I had a job at all upon leaving school, although it wasn’t precisely what I wanted. Recently, I have determined that this simply is not good enough. I must endeavor to do better and do what I truly want to do. Write and edit. My degree in Journalism from the University of Arkansas makes me realize, all too readily, that it was simply the first step on actually getting to do something in journalism. I’ve stepped up my skills in photography, graphic design, copy writing and editing to a degree that wasn’t required in school. I taught myself Adobe Flash and Photoshop. I got organized with Google Docs, Contacts and Calendars. On top of all of this, I have been constantly refining and building my natural writing talents. I have, since my first job at 16, wowed employers with a level of work ethic and drive that no other employee could match. When placed in management or team leadership roles, my team excelled. A job I am happy with is no longer good enough. A job I love, in a field that excites me is what I need. I know I can bring a level of professionalism and drive to your business like no other person you’ve seen. I eagerly await the chance to impress you.
