I have relocated to Charleston, South Carolina with my family and seek full-time employment. In December, 2009, I resigned my position with the National Australia Bank in Sydney, Australia as a Director in their Wholesale Bank’s Financial Institutions’ Group (FIG). I was responsible for (NAB’s) Domestic & Global Financial Institutions’ clients and managed a small, however highly talented team of 12 Bankers and Financial Advisors. I have a total of 16 years experience in a “Head of” role, managing products and portfolios related to banking services, responsible for markets and treasury services, specialised finance such as project finance and structured transactions, loan syndications, securitisation and credit structuring, including complex transactions. Specifically, I have much experience in IPO’s, M&A’s and Highly Leveraged Transactions (HLT’s), Compliance & regulatory processes and strategic planning in this innovative and challenging environment. Current responsibilities are to control and direct all existing banking activities and new to Bank business, including risk (credit), payments services, transaction banking, and complex transaction processes. Additionally, I am responsible for risk assessment and overview, strategic planning, policy development and the continued growth of the business. I am also responsible for the development of products, infrastructure objectives and executive management of my team. Prior to this, I was employed by ANZ Banking Group’s Transaction Banking Division, (now CMTS); I managed a large and diverse team responsible for Sales of Banking and transaction products and transaction services to Business Banking, Corporate & Institutional markets. I was the Head of Business, Corporate and Institutional Banking in the Transactional and Cash Management Division. I am an accomplished strategic analyst with sound organisational and management skills. I am a qualified Accountant (CPA) with good generalist knowledge and specialist strategic & analytical skills across a broad range of industries. Specific strengths include effective communications, adept team building and an inherent ability to analyse business functions and determine outcomes. I have good commercial experience and always look for opportunities that will add value. I have a consultative style and enjoy interaction with key stakeholders in a business environment.
