I have been in the telecommunications business for 13 years. I have experience with voice, video, data, wireless and cellular. I attended Texas A&M for Outside Plant Telecommunications Certification. I also attended Jones National Communications Technical Institute for a Senior Master Technician Award Program. The training was a combined 6 year program. I have training and working knowledge using most types of test meters including OTDR and TBIRD‘s to name a few. I have training with Juniper, Cisco, Ciena, and Axxera Networks. I am familiar with most DSL and cable modems. I have a vast knowledge of Cisco, Motorola, Samsung, and Scientific Atlanta DHCT’s, and most VOIP products. I have with twisted pair, coax, and fiber, plants. Installing, splicing, maintenance, and trouble shooting. I have experience in Network Operations building tunnels to create pseudo wires for point to point and multipoint connections and trouble shooting support after the fact. I have working knowledge of T Carriers for example T 1, DS3, HDSL-2.
