EHS/Safety Coordinator
I have 16 years working as a Production Operator and have been actively involved with the safety needs of the department, I have been through several leadership classes and have been a lead person on new software installation programs. I have worked most recently as the department EHS/Safety Coordinator for 165 employees. Providing them with PPE and other materials they need to meet OSHA requirments. I have had OSHA 1910,1926 and have been accepted to attend the next USDOL OSHA Voluntary Protection Program Special Goverment Employee (SGE) training to be held in January 2010. I was instrumental in planning, preparing and managing VPP readiness for my department. I also have experience working as a supervisor for a large meat processing plant, supervising the production line. I would like an opportunity to use my knowledge, skills and abilities to gain employment.
