Hi, I am Ranga. I am a Master's graduate from Univ of Maryland in Electrical Engineering with signal Processing(Image Processing) as my major and I am currently looking for an opportunity to be part of an growing company to make use of my skills.My area of specialisation is in signal(image processing). Over the past 2 and a half years I have been involved in research work in the field of medical image processing ( image registration to be particular). I have also worked as an intern at PHILIPS RESEARCH (NY) on GPU based acceleration of image registration algorithm. I have a conference paper on "fingerprint pattern recognition and matching" which was my undergraduate project. I also have been involved in projects in the field of machine learning, pattern recognition, speech processing and have passion towards them.Coming from the electrical engineering department i have a sound math/statistic/analytic background.
