After assisting with a turnaround of the financial operation at Shared PET Imaging (90 hospitals in 13 states with $29 million in annual revenue) the company was purchased by Alliance Imaging last January. My management consulting services have been retained by Alliance to assist with the development of our program at HHC facilities and other hospitals. I have assessed my career options and decided to launch a search for a new position in the healthcare setting. I am ready for new challenges and feel that my track record will be meaningful to any organization interested in business growth and superior patient satisfaction. In the last 22 years, I’ve had the good fortune to be associated with some of the finest medical centers in New York and surrounded by new and exciting technologies and opportunities. Many times I learned “on my feet”-how to develop Radiology and Oncology departments and projects, negotiate contracts, prepare reports and analyses for venture capitalists, Certificate of Need assessments and implementation and meet a wide array of both finance and general operating challenges. The results have been satisfying-as you’ll note from the accomplishments highlighted in my resume. Now, I’m eager to transfer my skills and expertise to an organization where I can continue to make a difference-and where I’ll also continue to learn and expand my professional capabilities.
