I’m Looking for a position as Plant manager or Director of Manufacturing in a progressive company in the need of an innovative thinker who can teach their workforce to work lean and efficiently. I have a proven track record of increasing production while lowering costs and lead time. I can increase your inventory turns while lowering your on hand inventory through cycle counting, JIT and better managing of your MRP system. I will teach you how to cross train your workforce both within and across department lines. Trained in Lean manufacturing, JIT, Visual factory and Six Sigma methodology of define, measure, analyze, improve and control. Worked on negotiating Union contracts, hiring and firing of hourly and salaried personnel. Lower fixed cost absorption through efficiencies and contract negotiations. Proven record of moving up within companies I’ve worked for due to process improvements, reduced costs, lower inventories and a better trained staff. I have been responsible for P&L and G&A budgets, production schedules, increasing inventory turns and inventory reductions, adjusting hourly and salaried workforce due to production schedules and market demands. I have provided production reports and variance reports to company VP and Divisional President along with the annual report to company CEO. I have excelled in the manufacturing environment across many disciplines including automotive, electrical and home building. I have ISO 9000, 14001 and gauge calibration experience.
