Outstanding Construction Management Graduate

I am a recent graduate with a Construction Management degree. During my academic career, I was on the Dean's list every semester that I attended Middle Tennessee State University. I was the leader of the university's construction management competition team, which was awarded second place, among 30 teams, at the national competition. I was also named the most outstanding student for 2008-2009 for my major. Besides my academic career, I have experience in residential construction through volunteer activities and while assisting acquaintances with home and outbuilding projects. I also have a family history of construction employees. So, I have exposure to many facets of the construction field. I have helped with roofing, pouring foundations walls, concrete floors, hardwood and tile flooring, asphalt paving and numerous other activities. Having performed these duties has helped reinforce that I am pursuing the correct career path and am excited to begin the next chapter of my life. With that said, I am looking for an opportunity with growth potential. I am interested in starting my construction management career in the estimating, scheduling, or some form of assistant's (e.g. project manager assistant, asst. supervisor, asst. superintendent) position. If given the opportunity, you will find that I am an eager and quick learner. I am also a motivated, hard-working individual who takes pride in a job well done.
