Senior Field Service Engineer

While willing to relocate if required, I would prefer a field based position working from home and on customer sites. Travel is o.k. Extended and international trips are acceptable, however I value my time at home and would like most travel to be normally week or two in length. Prefer position to be more technical in nature and not sales or marketing as primary duties. Like to sole problems and provide customers with quality support and service. Enjoy teaching and training others on subjects and skills from my area of expertise. Must Have authority that matches responsibilities, meaning If customer needs a part required to resolve an issue, I could get the part and determine if it was warrenty, goodwill, billable based on my knowlege of the issue and not have to get approval in most cases. In other words the company I work for MUST respect my judgement and give proper authority to do the tasks I am assigned. Must have clear priorities, duties and responsibilities defined meaning just because I have no service calls scheduled don't invent busy work for me! I like to be on task and working to complete assignments or tasks. I can manage multiple issues and projects as required, what I refer to is if a slow time for the company occurs that I have duties that use my skills and benifit the company, Previous employer required attendance but assigned no duties resulting in poor work conditions. KEEP ME BUSY !! PLEASE
