RssDBA IMS and/or DB2 mainframe;assembler language; reverse engineering

DONALD J. LANDAUER email: djlandauer@aol.com Home: 303-665-2477 INTRODUCTION I have extensive experience working with large enterprises in many industries including, but not limited to, manufacturing, health care, financial, retail, IT service providers and software developers. As I have performed duties as both a DB2 and IMS Data Base Administrator, often together with the same client, I was responsible for security management within the DBMS products (dictionaries), and the external user and dataset security interfacing with the RACF (IBM), ACF2 and Top Secret security products. I have also programmed using IBM assembler language and COBOL accessing data from IMS and DB2 databases as well as many types of IBM file access methods. I possess a Bachelor of Science - Electrical Engineering degree conferred by Drexel University located in Philadelphia, PA. My personality is ‘easy going’ and I take pride in working well with all levels and skills of associates. I am a TEAM player and I don’t give 100%; instead I like to perform at a 200% level! Also, last but not least, I relate well to all levels of client management. My primary professional skills revolve around IBM Host Database Administration as utilized with transaction managers. I have considerable experience (25+ years) with both DB2 and IMS. I was employed by IBM where I worked extensively in these areas as a Senior Systems Engineer supporting these products for IBM’s largest users. Over the past fifteen years, I have worked for clients in the Bay Area supporting DB2 and IMS, sometimes uniquely, but often when both database systems were intertwined. Also, I have worked with very large databases. In the past five years, I have performed IMS development while also acting as the database administrator for DB2 and IMS. My career has been almost totally involved with large IBM host clients which has provided me with extensive knowledge of the day-to-day operation of high activity transaction manager and database systems.
