After completing my degree program in Alaska's quickly evolving natural resource development atmosphere, I am seeking to bring my knowledge of policy and planning, geographic information systems, and environmental science to a cutting edge team. Operating my own aquarium service business for 6 years, I specialize in freshwater and marine ecosystems. However, I have demonstrated my ability to be a value-added contribution to any natural resource development company while interning for Conocophillips Alaska Inc. where I gained valuable experience as a field scientist. Under superb instruction at Alaska Pacific University, I became familiar with ArcGis and remote sensing processes. I am looking for a work environment where my skills are beneficial to an advanced team and further education in my field is encouraged. I hope to enter secure a Master of GIS or Environmental Science degree within the next 3 years.
