Dear Madam / Sir, I graduated from Rice MBA, USA last year with a concentration in finance and joined Deloitte Financial Advisory Services in Houston, Texas. I worked with Deloitte Financial Advisory Services for about one year and two months as Senior Associate. At Deloitte, I was involved in the valuation engagements for financial reporting, federal tax, purchase price allocations, mergers and acquisitions, goodwill impairment, and property tax purposes. Before joining Rice University, I worked as project engineer for J. Ray McDermott in Dubai. During my years with J. Ray McDermott, I led teams in the energy industry, motivating people at individual and team levels and turning ideas into specific results that met or exceeded goals. I also developed a thorough knowledge of the industry through diverse work experience that ranged from project engineering and functional testing of wellhead and automated control systems to budgeting and financial analysis. While studying at Rice University, I interned with Kenda Capital (Investment Manager of Shell Technology Ventures Fund-I). During my stay at Kenda Capital, I got a hands-on experience in the investment sector while working on financial modeling, researching market trends in the oil&gas sector and conducting due diligence on investment targets.
