I am a seasoned commercial real estate finance and investment professional with an 18 year track record of success. I have closed over $3 billion of transactions. Areas of expertise include traditional balance sheet construction and bridge lending; structured finance; Fannie, Freddie and FHA multifamily programs; LIHTC, New Market Tax Credits and historic tax credits; REIT credit facilities; loan syndications, CMBS and interest rate derivatives. In 1999, I established, staffed and managed a loan production office for Key Bank Real Estate Capital. For the last four years I have served as the Director of Capital Markets and Finance for a pension fund advisor. In this role, I am responsible for acquisitions and finance for three institutional funds that we advise and manage. The funds are invested primarily in real estate. Additionally, I assist the funds' portfolio managers in the recapitalization and disposition of assets in their portfolios. As an RTC contractor, I gained valuable experience with loan work outs and modifications and disposition of real estate assets. While my current employer does business nationwide, I have maintained and expanded my customer base in the DC Metro region. Therefore, I am currently seeking a senior lending or acquisitions position with a Washington, DC based institution, REIT or fund.
