Materials Manager

In an effort to develop a stronger knowledge base in healthcare administration, I returned to college and have recently secured my Associate degree in Business Administration (AAS), Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and Leadership (BA) and Masters Degree in Health Administration (MHA). I am also a member of the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA) and Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). I have proven skills in management, supervision, teaching, sales, marketing and project management. I have had the opportunity to lead several healthcare initiatives. Assisting one of the largest medical systems in Rockford, Illinois, to prepare for JCAHO accreditation, I took a substantive project from start to finish, resulting in a successful accreditation for the institution. During a three year period I had the opportunity to assist in the development of a medical coding software company, in which I helped build this company from startup to maturity. In this capacity, I worked in sales, project management, customer support and training. I interfaced with individual clinics as well as health systems to transition their staffs into this new software system. Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers, physicians and colleagues. I understand their business and assist them in reaching their goals.
