Rsslead design engineer

I am interested in a career opportunity where I can use my over twenty three years of experience in efforts that, in order to design an installation that would meet the expressed needs of the customer, required the ability to interface with various disciplines, review drawings and work under stringent specifications (military, company and commercial). My background includes leading the design/detailing of the routing of electrical harness assemblies throughout the aircraft as well as supporting the shop upon installation of these designs. Projects involved in include (helicopter) H-60, S-92, H-53 and VH-3D; (military fixed wing aircraft) F-14, EA-6B, and (commercial fixed wing aircraft) RJ, Global and RJX. I possess an extensive working experience with MIL-SPECS. Computer-Aided-Design experience includes: CADAM (10,000 hours); CADRA (5,000 hours +); CATIA V4 (12,000 hours +); CATIA V5 (5000 hours +).

  • Design Engineer (Wiring Installations) Currently, I am working as a shop liaison between engineering and manufacturing where I am involved in the elimination of production aircraft discrepancies for the HH-60M Medivac Blackhawk program. Before that I had been working on the CH-53K program where I used CATIA V5 and LCA, MIL-SPECS and stringent company specifications, to perform my duties as the lead in designing the routing of h/a for the cabin, transition, tail pylon and sponson areas of the aircraft . The prior three years, I was the lead designer for wiring installations on the S-92 commercial helicopter. My responsibilities were to design and revise h/a routings throughout the aircraft, using CATIA V4, MIL-.SPECS and stringent company specs and documenting them using Microsoft Power Point for creating photo books. After which, I was the liaison between engineering and manufacturing, where I was involved in the elimination of production aircraft discrepancies. Prior to that I worked as leads on the VH-3D and SH-60R programs performing similar functions.
