Director / VP

  • Most of my current work consists of providing consultations to small companies starting out or trying to recover from the current financial crisis. I am providing them with inexpensive solutions, sometimes even off the shelf pre-written software that I can tailor to their immediate needs. I have a large amount of computer experience that my clients have always found to save themselves enormous sums of money, not only in the short-term, but also over the long haul. The reason for this, is that I am very experienced in computer systems, software, and especially at designing systems that will grow with a company.

Manager

  • I was responsible for the development of new software systems in support of modernization efforts to increase the efficiency of wind tunnel testing operations and data acquisition/analysis. Through my development of new ‘outside-the-box’ software applications, the facility realized a 35% increase in overall efficiency and the work force requirement to run the tunnel was reduced by over 15%. Specifically, I developed and implemented a new model control and data acquisition system, with built-in safety features to prevent catastrophic damage to test articles. Application development was done in several versions of LabView, MATLAB, Visual Basic, Fortran 90, C, C++, and MS Access. I programmed in LabView extensively in this job, working with National Instruments equipment, which I personally researched and purchased, largely for developing and redesigning the flight plan/flight control systems, from UAVs and ballistics, to the latest space craft. I am also very experienced with testing, developing, and designing systems that use data acquisition hardware devices – strain gauges, thermal sensors, load cells and pressure monitors of all kinds, etc…not only under high mach numbers, but at a previous job, under oceanic pressures and conditions as well.
