Most people who seek a new job are looking for higher wages, consistent hours, hours that fit with the person's schedule, hours or responsibilities that allow time for family, a good benefits package, a good health care plan, etc. Aside from those practical issues, I want jobs that challenge, which allow for advancement and promotion, or even opportunities for continued education. Otherwise, I look for personal fulfillment, the feeling of being involved in work for the greater good, or even being part of a team making important changes in the world.
