Seeking an associate level legal career

As my resume reflects, I am a third year student at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. With graduation approaching in May, I am seeking an associate position in real estate law. This has been my goal since I entered college in the fall of 2001. After graduating from Louisiana State University with a degree in Finance with a concentration in real estate investments, I worked as a legal assistant dealing exclusively with commercial real estate transactions. During both of my summer breaks from law school I clerked for title companies. My first summer I primarily drafted successions and wills and formed limited liability companies, corporations, and partnerships. I also assisted in residential real estate closings. My second summer I learned how to examine a title and dealt with the issues that arise in that process. Over the course of that summer I worked with both residential and commercial closings. I had a wonderful experience working in this field and I trust that the attorneys I worked under would give me strong recommendations. My goal is to find a job where I will be able to use the skills I have already acquired and gain more experience in this field and related fields such as bankruptcy law. As I mentioned above, I am seeking an associate position upon graduation.
