Ensured the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process was correctly applied to all flight engineer courseware. Developed, wrote, validated and revised student initial qualification and instructor courseware as well as managed and directed flight engineer requirements for two aircrew training devices worth over $80M. Coordinated with higher headquarters on evolving operational requirements to maintain up-to-date curriculum. Exercised general supervisory duties over 80 students per year. Ensured students met all requirements for course completion. Counseled students when performance standards were not met. Made recommendations to commander on whether to retain or eliminate problem students. Assisted the scheduling officer in planning detailed flying hour program in excess of 3,500 hours of the unit's 13 assigned helicopters.
