  • In May 2008, I was one of the first to arrive to begin constructing Spread #1 of the Gulf South Expansion consisting of and Compressor Station near Sherman, TX involving over one-thousand workers and spanning across two states. Under Lead EI Ron Ladd my duties and responsibilities included Environmental Orientation Training, and monitoring compliance with rules and regulations of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), documenting non-compliance and problem areas and specializing in the monitoring of horizontal directional drilling of waterways. Also responsible for monitoring all work being performed safely and incompliance with all rules and regulations and had authority to stop all work if not in compliance.

  • My duties involved safety orientation training, conducting daily safety meetings, developing written safety and emergency response programs and compliance of all safety regulations for all workers on project including Inspectors at the Rayville Gulf South Office, workers at Delhi Warehouse, along with workers at two pipe yards. My chief responsibility was to maintain Safety as the number one priority for over seven hundred employees of the contractors and theirs subs during the construction of sixty-one miles of 42” natural gas pipeline, two Compressor Stations, and Interconnects. This was accomplished by monitoring and close observation that the contractors written safety programs sixty- four miles of 42” natural gas pipeline were being adhered to, identifying and documenting hazards, closely monitoring all excavations, tasks being performed by competent personnel especially when required by Veriforce, conducting random safety audits, collecting equipment inspections, death and accident investigations and determine root cause analysis, and documenting compliance or non-compliance with OSHA, DOT, inclusive with all local, state and federal regulations
