- In May 2008, I was one of the first to arrive to begin constructing Spread #1 of the Gulf South Expansion consisting of and Compressor Station near Sherman, TX involving over one-thousand workers and spanning across two states. Under Lead EI Ron Ladd my duties and responsibilities included Environmental Orientation Training, and monitoring compliance with rules and regulations of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), documenting non-compliance and problem areas and specializing in the monitoring of horizontal directional drilling of waterways. Also responsible for monitoring all work being performed safely and incompliance with all rules and regulations and had authority to stop all work if not in compliance.
