- For the past 8 years, Mr. Stewart has been responsible for remediation activities to be conducted at the site, including surficial soil, groundwater and storm water media. As part of this responsibility, Mr. Stewart managed the following: • $4 million RFI investigation that included overseeing a dynamic team of more than 60 people; • $2 million perchlorate interim measure; and • $1 million asbestos removal program. Work on each of the above included preparation of permits, regulatory work plans and reports, in addition to implementation of environmental assessments, liaison with government agencies, and evaluation and implementation of interim remedial and source control measures. Mr. Stewart also organized agency and public meetings, including the preparation of powerpoint presentations.
