I am writing in reference for a position as Support techncian. I consider that my credentials and interests match with your requirements and want to apply for the same. I have worked in hi-tech, Biotechnology, health care and manufacturing companies all being large user environments. Currently was on assignment doing a tech refresh/2K to Xp migration project at a major financial institution in Boston which has come to a completion. As a contractor for the last three years I’ve been doing tech refresh and system build. I have also done desk side support of windows 2000, XP, Mac OS’s, network, computer operations and asset management over a decade. I've enjoyed these positions, but due to the nature of contracting I am looking for opportunities in desk side support and or same. During these years I have acquired a very good knowledge of the Altiris deployment console, BDD/USMT, Ghost, SMS, Active Directory, and have been involved with the upgrades of HP and Dell laptops/Desktops and XP rollouts from 2K . I also have experience with outlook and Lotus notes. My responsibilities included customized builds, and providing back end support for the distributed applications on a daily basis and guiding new trainees through their jobs.
